What is the Scrapbook Project?

The scrapbook project is an exercise in determining your values and what you want out of life. It is of most benefit to do with your partner, but can also be done alone.

Aims of the Scrapbook Project
  1. Clarify your own values
  2. Challenge assumptions you make about your partner
  3. Challenge assumptions your partner makes about you
  4. Explicitly state your expectations of each other
  5. Draw a clear picture of what you want in your future
  6. Begin to make a plan for making the future a reality
Scrapbook Project Ground Rules
  • The Scrapbook Project is personal and private, and is only to be shared voluntarily. This includes when working with your partner.
  • Be completely honest when working on your scrapbook. Otherwise, the exercise will not deliver you any value.
  • Do not ridicule or argue about anything your partner shares with you from their scrapbook.
  • Do not defend or justify anything in your scrapbook you choose to share with your partner.
  • If you do not agree with the ground rules, do not complete the Scrapbook Project, or complete it alone.
